Introduction to family law

Introduction to Family Law (Feb 2025)– covers the Act, the Rules, important time limits, the Court, how to navigate Austlii for research (including understanding the previous “iterations” of the court names etc), intro to the child support estimator and Centrelink pensions and benefits. The attendee will learn to be able to confidently navigate the legislation, the Court’s website, find research materials and obtain some basic results for child support estimator and understand client’s entitlements to pensions / benefits after separation
