Financial Disclosure (June 2025) – covers legislative provisions / obligations, pre-action procedures, duty of disclosure. A step by step review of a bundle of “sample” disclosure documents for students which may not have had exposure to tax returns, mortgage statements, etc. Rules around use of disclosure documents, strategies when considering client’s docs and other party’s docs, dealing with objections from the other party. Attendees will have a thorough understanding of obtaining, reviewing and considering financial disclosure from clients and the other party, and be able to prepare a preliminary critique of what’s contained in those documents.
