Parenting (Apr 2025) – covers the legislative provisions (post May 2024) but with some comparisons on pre-amendments to ensure broader understanding of framework when reading pre-May 2024 reported decisions. A helpful acronym for the best interests factors is included. Practitioner’s obligations, settlement options, introduction to court process and what’s required when filing an application / response, as well as a summary of key reported decisions. The attendee will have a foundation understanding of the parenting jurisdiction. Feedback has been that this session gave them far more than their family law content at University provided.
